Tie Vote

Tie Vote

This postcard notified Pap (Grandmom’s father) that he was tied in the vote for the office of Supervisor by the Democratic Party in Williams Township. It is dated October 7, 1919.

This is the second time I have discovered that members of the Craven family were involved in politics. Pap’s son Taddle had plans to run for the state legislature (see “Possible Campaign Photo”). I find it surprising but also very interesting.
