Cravens and Baseball, Part 1

Grandmom’s father, Pap, is seen holding the banner in the back row. The Williamstown baseball team was organized in 1891. This picture dates from 1899.

I don’t know how Pap was actually involved with the team. His interest in baseball was passed on to his son, Patrick, who became an umpire in the local leagues.
